URJA WATER BASE DUCT SEALANT is a fast-setting, elastomeric water base joint sealant for low medium & high-velocity heating & air conditioning ducts. It has very good adhesion to galvanized, aluminum, or mild steel metal ducts. It gives a good flexible seal against air leakages and does not require reinforcing tapes or mechanical fasteners. It passes the Flammability test as per UL94 HB class test when tested at ARAI, lab, Pune. Also, it is food grade material when tested as per IS & USFDA test method at FOOD HYGENE & HEALTH LABORATORY.
Application
Apply by brush, cartridge gun, trowel, or extrusion. On the spiral duct apply a thick coat of URJA water base duct sealant. Brush excess URJA Water base duct sealant over the exterior of the joint and over the heads of all metal screws after they are in place and the joints are mechanically fastened.
